- Now Republican John McCain has chosen the first female vice president in the history of the United States.
Sarah Palin did exactly what she needed to do. She stood firm, she made people laugh, she talked about her family, she talked about policies. Most importantly she came across as someone who we can relate to and someone we can trust. She will not be "more of the same." With John McCain they are truly going to shake up Washington and make America an even better country.
